What is ERASED CMS?
This site runs on ERASED CMS, a modular, self-hosted PHP content platform built around a small stable core, a shared Package Engine, and capability-based extensions. It is designed to run on ordinary shared hosting — no Composer, no Node.js, and no server-side build step required — while still supporting installable packages, themes, and language packs.
What can it do?
- Content & pages — draft, revise, schedule, and publish posts and pages, with access rules and SEO fields built in.
- Media library — uploads with automatic thumbnail generation and a photo gallery system.
- ERASED Studio — a unified editor for the homepage layout, navigation, theme, typography, and media, all from one screen.
- Themes — a Theme Engine with installable admin and website themes that can be switched at any time.
- Multilingual — a language pack system for translating the admin and the public site.
- Users & permissions — role-based access control, two-factor authentication, and session protection.
- Backups — database and media backup/restore, with retention and integrity checks.
- Self-update — apply core updates from an uploaded release ZIP, with a staged review and automatic rollback if anything fails.
Why it exists
The goal is a single installation that can start as a blog, news site, portfolio, or business site — and grow new capabilities later without a reinstall or losing content. Everything extensible is a package, and nothing requires a cloud service to work.
